How did it become a "non-traditional" school? What are the criteria or classifications why we can call a school "non-traditional" ?
I haven't heard of a Montessori school in Mandaluyong. Only in San Juan.

Here's an article written by my wife on Maria Montessori approach to learning. http://adf.ly/1RSq
Our kids have benefited from this approach. You might want to consider it. There's one in BlueRidge.

what makes a school non-traditional is it's approach to learning. Montessori is one of them, other non-traditional types of learning are Bank Street, Waldorf, Piaget, Multiple Intelligence and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (D.A.P.). The know for sure if a school is non-traditional is to ask the school administrator or school registrar to briefly explain to you the method of teaching used by the school. Most often than not, non-traditional schools will be more than willing to spend time to enlighten you with their approach as well as their curriculum.
If you are looking for a progressive preschool you may want to look at Lincolnshire Internationale Preschool in Pasig. They are a non-traditional school and follows the Developmentally Appropriate Practice approach to learning. The school is also DepEd recognized and follows international standards of academic excellence.
To more about their programs, you may call the school at 687-4360 or visit the website at
