Geela was born in Muntinlupa Medical Center. And maganda din naman service nung hospital. The nurses took care of me while i was on labor...may isang nurse tlaga na hindi ako iniwan. Nag labor ako from 5am til 8pm...9:30 lumabas si gee! so talagang sobrang in pain ako nun. hay hirap manganak!

suggestion, try asian hospital. maganda din service nila, but syempre sobrang expensive. u must have atleast 100k kung normal delivery ka..and kung cs naman, prepare atleast 150-200k!

Im a lover, Im a child, Im a mother, Im a sinner, Im a saint...I do not feel ashamed!

My 1st daughter was born in St Louis Hosp-baguio 9 years ago! Mura pa noon ang manganak.. I stayed in the hopital for 4 days (normal delivery).. i spent about 15k (all in na, pati Drs' PFs)..
My 2nd daughter was born in Cardinal Santos (San Juan) 5 years ago.. It is an excellent hospital-- mga nurses were maasikaso, they're there agad pag tawag mo.. Plus, hubbies/partners are allowed into the labor room to stay with you even without la maze classes.. I spent about 30K (normal delivery).
For my third baby (due very very soon!!), i'll be having him in Delgado (kamuning, QC) due to proximity.. MY OB says the labor room is quite old, and the approach is quite traditional (no partners allowed inside).. Private rooms are spacious daw.. i'll be spending about 45-50K for normal delivery with epidural..

See a trend here, mommies?? Every 4 (or so) years ako nanganganak. Laughing hehehe.. Everytime, nag dodouble din ang cost.. hay, buhay.. Smile Kaya this one is my final baby na talaga.

Migs & Jolo were born at St. Lukes Medical Center. Parehong normal delivery/epidural. During that time year 2000 and 2002 we spend 70k. Kanya mahirap manganak ulit magastos baka now 100 to 150k na pag nanganak.

Same with CC, have given birth to my last two daughters at Chinese General under the care of Dr. Cristina Lim. Service is ok and hospital fees is easy on the budget... Image just spending around 30 thousand (with philhealth) for CS in a semi-private room. Very Happy

My children were born at the PCMC Philippine Children's Medical Center, Agham Road Quezon City on the following dates:
1. January 25, 2001
2. October 29, 2002
3. September 30, 2005
4. I am due on June 2010 ( will be giving birth at the PCMC again )   Shocked
It is a hospital for high-risk pregnancy.  Doctors and nurses there are very accommodating and kind.
My OB is Dra. Corazon Yabes-Almirante while my children's Pediatrician is Dra. Maria Eva I. Jopson; but before my child's pedia was my cousin, Maria Socorro Zenilda Lorenzo Merle.  But she left for California in  the year 2001 right after I gave birth to my first child.
Cool

Dr. Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital in Q.C.

Athena (August 31, 2003)
Toby (Feb 20, 2005)

The service is good. It was referred to me by my friend who gave birth there too. Place isnt crowded. Very accommodating ang mga nurses and doctors. Kahit na hindi ka dun nag-papachekup sa kanila. Hospital bill ko was around 30k... small private room... 3 days..normal delivery... and 18k naman fo the doctors fee. Kc yung OB ko & pedia are just visiting doctors e... but yung anesthesiologist ko is a resident.

PCMC (Philippines Children's Medical Center)

Twins Apollo & Amyel
(August 19, 2009)

I was referred by my OB in medical city... because at 4 months, my twins were diagnosed with a possible TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome). And since high-risk ang case ko.. my OB believed that PCMC can handle it well...they say hindi daw paanakan dun kaya kelangan talaga ng referral letter from a doctor kung dun ka manganganak... she even advised me na ipasok ko daw sa charity ang case ko. luckily, because of the charity... ang ginastos ko lang all in all is 32k... twins, normal delivery, 7 days in the hospital.. and thank GOD... my twins were OK...   Very Happy

The Medical City me..CS ~ P130K less na Philhealth and discounts ng doctor.

HMmmmmm...service? Not satisfied! esp nurses..there were some nurses na ok namana pero other nurses hindi pa ganung kabihasa sa job nila. Imagine, magang maga na ung right hand ko bec of the dextrose needle, ayaw pa tanggalin..kc di pa daw ubos ung dextrose..and ung nagsaksak nga pala ng dextrose ko before ako dalin sa delivery room, nagkamali pa! buti sana kung di masakit un no..

Hay! kakatrauma tuloy!

Hi mommyLYN,

Im just new here at PinoyParenting.  I've read in the forum that your OB is Dra. Almirante.   Can you give further information and comment about her.  I just transferred to her last December 2010 and no further knowledge about her.  Planning to get pregnant by December 2010 and would like to know kung okey ba siya since Im considered as a high risk pregnancy due to GD.

Hoping to give further info.

Thanks,

@Frannie

Hello! I have replied thru private message.
Yes, Dr.Almirante is the best OB  :-)

I gave birth on the 4th of July, 2010 after waiting for my baby's due date on June 19, 2010   Shocked

4 of my babies, all are delivered at the PCMC Philippine Children's Medical Center. This hospital is considered as accommodating high-risk pregnancies.

Welcome Frannie to Pinoy Parenting!
Good Luck and God bless your plans of having a baby!
