Come to First Academy of Computer Arts and join our summer workshops on:
MANGA ILLUSTRATION 20 hrs
The course enables the students to learn the art of Japanese drawing. Students will be trained on different technical skills and techniques in drawing concentrating on MANGA style. At the end of the program, students are required to create their own comics from cover to pages this includes characters, background setting and layout.
DIGITAL COMICS - MANGA STYLE 62 hrs
In digital comics students will develop their ideas to create their own personal comic strips using various graphic and animated art applications. At the end of the workshop, students must present to the class their very own Digital Comics. Subjects includes MANGA, DIGITAL STORYTELLING, DIGITAL COLORING using Photoshop and FLASH ANIMATION using Flash MX .
JUNIOR DIGITAL ARTS 44 hrs
Transform your drawings into digital works of art! Learn how o use digital technology for the creation of fine art and produce your very own cartoon animation, using self drawn characters and edited photos. This course introduces the fundamental aspects of Digital arts which includes basic photo editing, freehand drawing and animation. Students will learn how to apply the basic techniques in computer illustration using object oriented drawing application to create different artworks for print and multimedia. Subjects include FREEHAND DRAWING (Character Illustration), DIGITAL COLORING using Photoshop, FLASH ANIMATION using Flash MX.

First Academy of Computer Arts is bring back the Summer Workshop for this starting April 2010.
For Ages 8 to 16:
- Junior Digital Arts
- Digital Manga Comics
- Manga Illustration
For Ages 13 to 16:
- Junior Digital Photography
- Junior 3D Modeling
If they have a high interest in drawing, arts and computers these courses would be best for your kids to enjoy. These courses will give them an edge come back school days that they can use to create their projects and show to others what they can do.
